On second thought, maybe that's a positive. The only negative is that you have to drive to Pagosa or South Fork for lodging. Speaking of bathrooms, have you ever been to a resort where they were actually kept clean? These were. From the rental counter to the lift attendants, to the bar tender, to the parking directors, to the shuttle driver (had to park in the lower lot 1 day when we arrived at the slopes late), to the bathroom cleaners.TOP NOTCH friendly. Staff.the friendliest of any ski resort we've ever been to. FUN! The one complaint I have is that the runs are very poorly marked and you can easily end up on ones over your ski level. We never waited in a lift line 1x in 3 days. We heard they were there 2 weeks prior during Texas and Kansas spring breaks. Skis and boots were in better condition than most performance packages I've rented in the past. 3 day rental was $40 with free overnight storage. Ski rental.due to the current ski conditions they recommended we get the basic package over the more expensive rentals. So happy with our decision to go to Wolf Creek for Spring Break. Because the lift tickets have gotten completely outrageous at the larger, better known resorts I went in search of something less expensive. Over the years, we've gotten quite used to rude seasonal workers at ski resorts and accept it as part of the territory. I've never reviewed a ski resort before, but we were so impressed I feel compelled to give kudos to a top notch staff.
